I AM A WALKER...
Bring the kids—jogging strollers welcome!

The Read Run 5K is a great opportunity for walkers and families to be involved in an event that supports a local organization and at the same time provides a fun and unique way to exercise on a sunny Sunday. Along the race course, children and the young at heart will be treated to characters from literature cheering on the crowd. Famous literary quotations will decorate lawns along the route! (Kids are free if not registered to compete)—the more the merrier!

Walkers and Book Lovers are invited to come dressed in costume.   A prize will be awarded to the most creative team costume depicting a literary theme, characters etc..  Our special raffle prize – a Wickedly Wonderful Afternoon with Gregory Maguire--will surely provide creative inspiration and encourage the spirit of competition.
